Presented in 1879 by The Marquis of Lorne, Governor-General of Canada and H.R.H. Princess Louise upon the occasion of their visit to the Club. Since 1967, awarded annually to the winner of the 2nd race, 2nd day at the RCYC LORC Open Regatta, PHRF Fleet.

Presented in 1920 by Edward, Prince of Wales in commemoration of his visit to the Club in 1919. Since 1983, awarded annually to the winner of the LORC Prince of Wales Race, PHRF Fleet.

Presented in 1887 by The Marquis of Lansdowne, Governor-General of Canada. Since 1967, awarded annually to the winner of the LORC Governor-General’s Race, PHRF Fleet.

The Murray Cup
The Murray Cup

Presented to the Toronto Yacht Club in 1882 by Captain J. G. Murray. The TYC was a schism that separated form the RCYC in 1881 and merged back again in 1889 after tempers cooled down. Since 1976, awarded to the first C&C 34 to finish the LORC Prince of Wales Race.

Presented in 1955 by the crew of the 8-Metre yacht, Vision, in memory of their skipper. Since 1976, awarded to the first Classic 8-Metre to finish the LORC Prince of Wales Race.

The C.A.B. Brown Memorial Trophy

Presented in 1921 to the RCYC by the Canadian National Exhibition in memory of the late Mr. Brown, Honorary Treasurer of the RCYC and President of the CNE at the time of his death. Since 1976, awarded to the first Classic 8-Metre to finish the LORC Governor Generals Race.

The Centennial Cup
The Centennial Cup (Confederation Cup)

1967
Presented in 1967 in honour of Canada’s Confederation. The original purpose was to recognize and encourage the participation of large C.C.A. measurement yachts in the RCYC Open Regatta. Since 1986m awarded to the first C&C 34 to finish the LORC Governor General’s Race.
